We were fortunate enough that Mike Battocchi called on us as we were in the planning process of building a new police station and showed us what DSS had to offer. He was able to show us that they were already providing their products to other police departments that were either building new police departments or remodeling their current police departments. The fact that they were a Costars vendor saved us the time of putting this out for bid.
DSS provided lockers for the men’s and women’s locker rooms, lockers for the Sally Port, stainless steel countertops and cabinets for the evidence processing areas and the armory, and shelving and storage units for the evidence rooms and the armory. These products will greatly enhance the day-to-day operations and overall efficiency of the police department keeping things neat and organized. The lockers for the officers will enhance the officers satisfaction and wellbeing.
The HVAC system hooked up to the lockers was a unique and innovative addition to the locker system that will also enhance officer satisfaction. The DSS products along with the new police station brought the Moon Township Police Department into the 21st century that will serve the police department and community for years to come.
Mike Battocchi was a pleasure to work with on this project. He was always very responsive and professional. He worked with us the entire time on this project that took two years from planning to installation. He worked with us through issues that included changes, working with the general contractor and sub-contractors that included HVAC and Electrical contractors to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. He was there when the units were installed to make sure everything was installed properly and worked properly and there was no damaged products. I would definitely recommend Mike Battocchi and the DDS products.
